Genesis Quezon Tugs Inc

Anchored in Quezon Province

Genesis Quezon Tugs Inc. (GQTI) has deep roots in the Calabarzon region of Luzon island

Founded by the former pilots of Quezon Harbor Pilots Company, Inc., we began our first cargo handling operations in 2016 in a small corner of Quezon province by handling and assisting more than 120 vessels. Driven by a pioneering spirit, these dedicated marine pilots have an extensive seasoned seafaring experience as masters, manning, and maneuvering ships from tugboats to VLCCs in foreign waters.

Our current fleet of tugboats–Tug 70, Tug 78, and Tug 88–plies the route of Pagbilao, and Sariaya, Quezon (Philippines). Each Japan-made tug is equipped with Niigata engine and Z-Peller propulsion system with power ranging from 3,500 to 4,000BHP, and is capable of servicing bulk carriers like Panamax, Post-Panamax, Handymax, and Kamsarmax.

All our tugboats are maintained to the highest standards by our own maintenance and engineering teams. Routine safety check and inspection, equipment testing, audit and drills are observed enroute to our ISO 2015 approval.

Our clients include Therma Luzon, Inc., Team Energy Inc, Liquigaz Philippines Corporation, and Seaway Filipinas Logistics, Inc.

We have a team with more than 30 years of shipping and maritime experience, constituting the backbone of the company’s management. To deliver maximum value to our clients, we also provide ancillary services like emergency fire and rescue operations. In addition, our non-stop or round-the-clock assistance 365 days a year ensures the confidence in our clients that their cargo is being handled with the greatest care and efficiency.

To improve and expand our operations, we continually strive by providing new marine and ancillary services, as well as advancing technical innovations to streamline vessels throughout and reduce time in port.

Anchors away! We sail at break of day.
